夜刀の神 (Gods of the Night Sword) Yato-no-Kami are snake deities living in Namegata county, in fields near the government offices
It is said that they brought familial extermination to anyone who saw them but were eventually killed by a man clearing the fields, enshrined, and banished to the mountains.
