Black dahlia Murder Case _ unsolved crime

"The Black Dahlia" was a nickname given to Elizabeth Short^[1][2][3] (July 29, 1924 – January 15, 1947), an American woman who was the victim of a gruesome and much-publicized murder. Short acquired the moniker posthumously by newspapers in the habit of nicknaming crimes they found particularly colorful. Short was found mutilated, her body sliced in half at the waist, on January 15, 1947, in Leimert Park, Los Angeles, California. Short's unsolved murder has been the source of widespread speculation, leading to many suspects, along with several books and film adaptations of the story.

growing a beard - jon walker

i am growing a beard
i hope it isn't weird
when i look into the mirror
will i recognize myself
i don't want to look like someone else
i'm just trying to stay warm

i made a fire, one with a purpose
everything i didn't need went inside it
and in the morning i felt so much better
moving forward with next to nothing helps

i wish someone told me this was going to happen
but it was probably better that way
what is a life without any lessons
